Hobart a Unanimous Preseason Favorite
MARSHFIELD, Mass. – The New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) has released its annual Preseason Coaches’ Poll for men’s ice hockey. The poll is compiled based on rankings from the league’s ten head coaches.
In a unanimous vote, Hobart College (100 points) took the top spot in the preseason poll after being crowned the 2023 NCAA National Champions. Norwich University (80 points) is slated second after advancing to the NCAA quarterfinal round last season. Babson College (77 points), Skidmore College (72 points), and Elmira College (70) round out the top five. See below for the full poll.

Teams open the regular season nonconference schedule on Friday, October 27 with all ten teams seeing action that weekend. League play begins the following Friday (November 3) with all teams squaring off against each other twice in the regular season in home-and-home bouts.
