MARSHFIELD, Mass. - The New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) has released its annual Preseason Coaches' Poll for women's ice hockey. The poll is compiled based on rankings from the league's nine head coaches.
Reigning NEHC league champions, Norwich University were selected to finish in the top spot this season, receiving all nine first place votes and 81 total points. Suffolk University is slated second with 68 total points while Castleton University rounded out the top three with 59 total points.

Teams open the regular season nonconference schedule on the weekend of November 1 with six of nine teams seeing action. League play begins the following Friday (November 8) with all nine members hitting the ice that weekend. All teams will square off against each other twice in the regular season in home-and-home bouts.
