Women's Weekly Release



MARSHFIELD, Mass. – The New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) women's weekly awards were announced for play through Sunday, February 3. The Johnson & Wales University duo of Hannah Tracy (Hanson, Mass.) and Jasmine Mucci (Arlington, Mass.) were recognized as Player and Rookie of the Week respectively. Emelie Lindqvist (Guller, Sweden) of Plymouth State University earned Goaltender of the Week accolades.

Player of the Week
Hannah Tracy - Johnson & Wales University
(Sophomore, Forward - Hanson, Mass.)

player Tracy recorded two goals and two assists for four points as the Wildcats earned two key NEHC victories. She opened the scoring on Friday against Salem State and then assisted on the second score of the game as JWU skated to a 3-1 victory. She followed that with another goal and assist in Saturday's 3-1 win against New England College. With the two wins, JWU currently sits 4th in the NEHC standings with 13 points.

Goaltender of the Week
Emelie Lindqvist - Plymouth State University
(Senior, Goaltender - Guller, Sweeden)

player Lindqvist had a huge week between the pipes to lead the Panthers to a perfect 3-0-0 mark. She totaled 121 saves over three games (40.3/gm), while posting a 0.976 save % and 1.00 GAA, as PSU topped Amherst (2-1), NEC (3-1) and UMass Boston (4-1).

Rookie of the Week
Jasmine Mucci - Johnson & Wales University
(Freshman, Goaltender - Arlington, Mass.)

player Mucci posted a 1.0 GAA for the week while posting a pair of NEHC victories. She made 15 saves with a .938 save percentage against Salem State on Friday and then came back Saturday to turn away 11 of the 12 shots she faced against NEC.



Honor Roll

Brooke Maggy – Plymouth State University
(Senior, Forward – Los Angeles, Calif.)

Maggy notched a goal and three assists to lead the Panthers to a 3-0-0 week. She opened the scoring in Wednesday's 2-1 win over Amherst with her 19th career goal to match the Plymouth State career goals record. She added a pair of assists in PSU's 3-1 win over NEC on Friday and chipped in another helper as the Panthers topped UMass Boston, 4-1, on Saturday.

Jill Hannigan – University of Southern Maine
(Junior, Forward – Portland, Maine)

Hannigan had a hand in all four goals for the Huskies, earning four assists on the weekend.

Emily Lambert – Norwich University
(Sophomore, Goaltender – Riverview, Mich.)

In Norwich's only game of the week, Lambert played one of her best games of the season, pitching a 22-save shutout in a 4-0 win over second-place Suffolk on Saturday. The shutout was Lambert's fourth of the season. In NEHC play this season, Lambert is 7-0-0 with a 0.57 goals against average and a .963 save percentage.
