MARSHFIELD, Mass. Bryn Labbe (Calgary, Alta.) of Norwich University and Melissa Boudreau (Lombard, Ill.) of University of New England were named to the Team of the Week for their play from January 18 through January 24. Labbe was also named the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) Rookie of the Week on Monday.

Labbe had a memorable Saturday night, scoring four of Norwich's six goals in a 6-0 win over Nichols. She tallied a natural hat trick with three straight goals in the first and second period and then added a shorthanded goal in the third period. She also had an assist on the first goal of the game for a five-point night. In total, Labbe had four goals and two assists for six points in two wins for the Cadets.

Boudreau netted her second goal of the season less than two minutes into overtime to lift the Nor'easters to a key conference victory over Nichols on Friday. The victory pushed UNE to 4-4-1 in the NEHC and 9-5-2 overall.

The Team of the Week recognizes the top performances across the nation in Division III women's hockey. Institutional and conference sports information directors submit nominations for recognition. A selection committee then reviews the nominations and selects an elite group of three forwards, two defenders and one goaltender for recognition.
