Player of the Week
Kaitlyn Spillane – Saint Anselm College
(Junior, Forward– Franklin, Mass.)

player Spillane tallied five goals and an assist for Saint Anselm in a pair of wins as the Hawks clinched the NEHC regular season title. The junior netted the first hat trick of her career in a 7-3 win at Holy Cross on Thursday and added two goals and an assist in a 6-0 victory at Southern Maine on Saturday.

Goaltender of the Week
Cassandra Goyette – Nichols College
(Sophomore, Goaltender – Norton, Mass.)

player On Friday, Goyette stood on her head to the tune of 61 saves against an 18-win UMass Boston team. The Bison nearly came away with a win, leading 1-0 in the third period before the Beacons forced overtime and eventually skated away with the win. Goyette had another huge game on Saturday on Senior Day for the Bison. Doing everything she could to help the seniors go out winners, Goyette made 57 saves against Castleton, ultimately falling short in her efforts. Her 44.8 saves per game lead the NEHC, while her 717 saves rank second.

Rookie of the Week
Amanda Conway – Norwich University
(Freshman, Forward – Methuen, Mass.)

player Conway had one of the best single weekend performances in program history as she tallied a hat trick in both wins over New England College (7-2) and Plymouth State (6-1). She scored her first collegiate hat trick in Friday's win over NEC, and then she followed up with four goals vs. Plymouth State, becoming the sixth player in program history to accomplish the feat.

Player of the Week
Hannah Rose - Castleton University
(Junior, Forward– Kenora, Ont.)

player Rose amassed five goals and added one assist for a six-point weekend to help lead Castleton to two league victories. The junior tallied two goals in a 4-0 win over Southern Maine on Friday, before enjoying a career game on Saturday with three goals and an assist for her first career hat trick in a 6-4 win over UNE.

Goaltender of the Week
Rachel Myette – University of Massachusetts Boston
(Junior, Goaltender – Duxbury, Mass.)

player Myette recorded 47 saves in a 2-0 effort this past week for the Beacons. The junior netminder registered 21 saves including five in the final minute of the third period in the Beacons 2-1 overtime win over New England College. She then posted 26 stops in the 3-1 win over Plymouth State University on Saturday.

Rookie of the Week
Kirsten Watts – Norwich University
(Freshman, Forward – Chugiak, Alaska)

player Watts had a breakout offensive weekend, tallying two assists in each game for a four-point weekend in wins over University of New England and Southern Maine. She assisted on the first goal in both games and finished with nine shots on goal and a +3 plus/minus rating on the weekend.

Player of the Week
Marisa Ketterman – Franklin Pierce University
(Senior, Forward– Palmer, Alaska)

player Ketterman tallied two goals and two assists in a 2-0-0 week for the Ravens. The senior dished out two assists, including the game-winner, as well as her 50th career assist, in a 3-2 win at UMass Boston on Friday. She followed that by scoring twice in a 3-0 win at Southern Maine on Saturday.

Goaltender of the Week
Shannon O'Neil – Franklin Pierce University
(Senior, Goaltender – Tewksbury, Mass.)

player O'Neil played every minute in a 2-0-0 week for the Ravens. On Friday, she made 27 saves against 29 shots to pick up a win at UMass Boston. On Saturday the senior stopped all 20 shots she faced to post a shutout at Southern Maine.

Rookie of the Week
Margaret Ready - Nichols College
(Freshman, Forward – Centerville, Mass.)

player Ready scored the game-winner in overtime for the Bison as they defeated Plymouth State University 5-4 to land Nichols its first win of the season. The first year forward knocked home the winning tally with just over 30 seconds remaining in the overtime period to earn the victory.

Co-Players of the Week
Kim Tiberi – Norwich University
(Junior, Defense – Raleigh, N.C.)

player Tiberi scored two goals and notched three assists for a five-point weekend as a defenseman and helped lead Norwich to two league victories. She scored a goal and tallied two assists in a 4-1 win over Southern Maine on Friday. She also assisted on the Cadets' first goal of the game and added another goal in the third in a 6-1 win over UNE on Saturday. She led the team with 13 shots on the weekend and finished as a +4 plus/minus rating.

Kaitlyn Spillane – Saint Anselm College

player Spillane tallied three goals and two assists in two Saint Anselm victories last week. The junior had a goal and two assists in a 5-1 win at Saint Michael's on Friday night and scored twice, including the eventual game-winner, in a 3-1 victory over No. 9 Connecticut College on Saturday.

Goaltender of the Week
Laurie King - Norwich University
(Junior, Goaltender – Waddington, N.Y.)

player King made 34 of 35 saves to pick up two victories on the weekend in net for the Cadets. She made 14 of 15 stops in a 4-1 win over Southern Maine. She then stopped all 20 shots she faced in 40 minutes of action in a win over University of New England. She is 12-0-1 with a 0.88 goals against average and a .953 save percentage.

Rookie of the Week
Arianna Boscia – Saint Michael's College
(Freshman, Defense – Cranston, R.I.)

player Boscia posted four assists and a +3 plus/minus rating during a 1-1 weekend. In a 5-1 loss to Saint Anselm on Friday, her +/- was zero before she tied a program record with four assists in an 8-2 win over Nichols on Saturday. She assisted go-ahead tallies in the first and second periods before recording helpers on the Purple Knights' fourth and fifth goals.

Player of the Week
Maura Kieft – Saint Anselm College
(Sophomore, Forward– Littleton, Colo.)

player Kieft tallied four goals and three assists for Saint Anselm in a 3-0 week. The sophomore scored her first-career hat trick as part of a career-high four-point outing in a 5-1 win at New England College on Friday. She also had two assists in a 9-0 victory over the University of New England on Saturday and scored in a 5-1 win over Trinity (Conn.) on Wednesday.

Goaltender of the Week
Shannon O'Neil – Franklin Pierce University
(Senior, Goaltender – Tewksbury, Mass.)

player In her only start of the week, piled up 43 saves against 45 shots, as the Ravens knocked off No. 3 Norwich on the road on Friday afternoon, 3-2. She notched 17 saves in the third period alone to guide the Ravens to a key conference victory.

Rookie of the Week
Sophie McGovern - Norwich University
(Freshman, Forward – Hermantown, Minn.)

player McGovern tallied three goals and one assist in two games for a four-point weekend to lead the Cadets to a 1-1 record. She notched an assist in a 3-2 loss vs. Franklin Pierce. She also scored three goals in a 5-1 victory over UMass Boston in a rematch of last year's NEHC Championship game. McGovern is tied for the team lead with eight goals.

Player of the Week
Nicole Mensi – Manhattanville College
(Sophomore, Forward– Mamaroneck, N.Y.)

player Mensi scored four goals and added two assists for 6 points in three games this week for the Valiants. She scored a goal and tallied an assist in a nonconference win over Lebanon Valley. The sophomore forward followed that by scoring twice against UMass-Boston and also added a goal and an assist in a win over Nichols College.

Goaltender of the Week
Jackie Clark – New England College
(Sophomore, Goaltender – Dorchester, Mass.)

player Clark went 2-0 in net in her NEC debut this week. She tallied 32 saves in a shutout victory against Salem State on Tuesday before stopping 35 saves and allowing one goal in the team's 2-1 win over Southern Maine. On the week, Clark recorded a .985 save percentage and a 0.49 goals-against average.

Rookie of the Week
Nicole Trivino – Castleton University
(Freshman, Forward – Georgetown, Ont.)

player Trivino sparked Castleton this week with a pair of first-period goals in back-to-back 1-1 draws at No. 8/9 Connecticut College and Wesleyan University as part of a three-game goal-scoring streak she had dating back to last week. Her three goals in 2017 have surged her to the top as she now leads the team with five tallies on the season.

Player of the Week
Sam Girard – College of the Holy Cross
(Sophomore, Forward– Dedham, Mass.)

player Girard helped Holy Cross to its fifth straight Rutland Herald Invitational championship with wins over SUNY Canton and Endicott. Girard was named the tournament's MVP for recording a team-best five points on three goals and two assists. In the opening round against the Roos, she notched one goal and one assist, as the Crusaders triumphed 3-2. In the championship game she tallied a team-leading two goals and one assist, as Holy Cross skated to its fifth championship with a 4-0 victory.

Goaltender of the Week
Laurie King – Norwich University
(Junior, Goaltender – Waddington, N.Y.)

player King posted two phenomenal performances against nationally-ranked opponents this weekend. Her 19-save shutout performance against #2 Elmira College handed the Soaring Eagles their first loss of the year as it propelled the Cadets into the championship game of the East-West Hockey Classic. She followed that with a brilliant 16-save performance (in relief) surrendering only one goal to #1 Plattsburgh State.

Rookie of the Week
Megan Klaus – Saint Anselm College
(Freshman, Defense – State College, Pa.)

player Klaus recorded her first two collegiate goals and added an assist for Saint Anselm in a 5-1 win at Franklin Pierce on Saturday. The freshman scored her first-career goal on the power play at 11:37 of the first period and added another at 7:25 of the second.

Player of the Week
Bryn Labbe – Norwich University
(Sophomore, Forward– Calgary Alta.)

player Labbe powered the Cadets to an impressive 5-0 win over Amherst College, notching three goals in the victory. The sophomore got Norwich on the board less than a minute into the contest, setting the tone early. She notched her second tally of the game mid-way through the second and capped off her impressive night with her third goal, a shorthanded tally, with less than five minutes to go in the third.

Goaltender of the Week
Laurie King – Norwich University
(Junior, Goaltender – Waddington, N.Y.)

player King continued her brilliant play over the last five games as she stopped 54 of 55 shots on the week to backstop the Cadets to two victories over Amherst and Bowdoin. King registered 31 saves, including 14 in the first period while NU was getting outshot 14-2 to pick up her fourth shutout of the season in a 5-0 win. She then followed up with 23 saves vs. Bowdoin to help the Cadets rally to a 3-1 win over the previously unbeaten Polar Bears.

Rookie of the Week
Julie Nagel – Plymouth State University
(Freshman, Forward – Canton, Mass.)

player Nagel exploded for four points on three goals and an assist in the Panthers' win over Post University. The first-year forward assisted on the second goal of the game in the first period before tacking on the fourth and fifth goals of the game. Her third goal of the game came at the 16:22 minute mark of the third period.

Player of the Week
Adrieana Rossini – Norwich University
(Sophomore, Forward– Malden, Mass.)

player Rossini scored the game-tying goal with 30 seconds left with an extra-attacker on the ice to help Norwich tie No. 2 Elmira 2-2 on Saturday in their only contest of the week.

Goaltender of the Week
Laurie King – Norwich University
(Junior, Goaltender – Waddington, N.Y.)

player King set a new career-high with 35 saves to help Norwich hand No. 2-ranked Elmira its first blemish on an otherwise perfect season in a 2-2 tie on Saturday. King was incredible all game long for the Cadets, including making 13 of 14 saves when getting outshot 14-3 in the first period.

Co-Rookies of the Week
Kateri McClellan – University of Massachusetts Boston
(Freshman, Forward – Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.)

player Scored her first collegiate goal, which was also the OT game-winner on Saturday in the 3-2 victory over William Smith College to keep the Beacons' undefeated home streak alive.

Amanda Conger – Saint Anselm College
(Freshman, Forward – Swanton, Vt.)

player Conger netted the game-winning goal late in the second period in Saint Anselm's 3-2 win over NEHC rival Holy Cross on Friday. The goal was her fifth of the season and extended her point streak to three games before a 2-2 tie at Bowdoin on Saturday.

Player of the Week
Julie Matthias – College of the Holt Cross
(Sophomore, Forward– Thornton, Colo.)

player Matthias tallied five points on the week, notching at least one point in Holy Cross' three games, as the Crusaders went 2-1-0. She started the week with a goal against Franklin Pierce to help Holy Cross to a 3-0 victory on Nov. 22. Next on Nov. 26, she netted the only score of the game, as the Crusaders suffered their first loss of the year to Bowdoin (3-1). Then on Nov. 27, she led the team with three points, including two goals and an assist, as she captured the game-winner in a 3-1 win over Wesleyan.

Goaltender of the Week
Britney Evangelista – University of Southern Maine
(Sophomore, Goaltender – North Smithfield, R.I.)

player In the Huskies only game this week, Evangelista stopped 32 of 33 shots to backstop Southern Maine to a 2-1 win over Colby College.

Rookie of the Week
Tatum Gietl – University of New England
(Freshman, Forward – Littleton, Colo.)

player Gietl notched three points for the Nor'easters on a goal and two assists as UNE went 1-1-0 on the week. The first-year forward notched the game-winning assist on Tuesday against Salem State. She followed that up with a goal and an assist in a losing effort (3-2) against the Vikings on Sunday.

Player of the Week
Alex Brolsma – Franklin Pierce University
(Junior, Forward– Bloomington, Minn.)

player Brolsma tallied three goals and six assists for an impressive nine points in a 2-0-0 week for the Ravens. The junior forward scored a goal and added an assist in Friday afternoon's win at Post. She then piled up a program-record seven points on two goals and five assists in Saturday afternoon's win at Post.

Goaltender of the Week
Mariah Trupp – Plymouth State University
(Junior, Goaltender – Topeka, Kansas.)

player Trupp recorded 39 saves on 41 shots in Saturday's victory over Salve Regina University. The junior netminder turned aside all 16 shots she faced in the third period to secure the victory for the Panthers as they improve to 2-3-0 in the NEHC.

Rookie of the Week
Alexis Kalm – Castleton University
(Freshman, Goaltender – Aberdeen, N.C.)

player In just her second career start, Kalm earned her first career win in net on Saturday making 24 saves in a 2-1 win over nationally-ranked UMass-Boston. The freshman helped spark her team to a key conference win after back-to-back losses. Kalm is now 1-1-0 on the season with a .920 save percentage, allowing just 2.01 goals per game.



November 14, 2016
Player of the Week
Kim Tiberi – Norwich University
(Junior, Defense– Raleigh, N.C.)

player Tiberi had a terrific weekend, tallying a goal and three assists from defense to help lead the Cadets to a weekend sweep of Saint Anselm and Castleton. Tiberi notched two assists in a 5-2 win over previously undefeated Saint Anselm, she also scored the game-winning goal and tallied another assists in a 3-0 shut out win over Castleton. Tiberi was a +4 plus/minus rating on the weekend and she leads the team with a +7 on the season.

Goaltender of the Week
Rachael Brazil – Castleton University
(Senior, Goaltender – Braintree, Mass.)

player Brazil made two starts this week for Castleton, going 1-1-0 with 66 total saves. She picked up her first shutout of the season with 24 saves in a 2-0 win over Plymouth State on Friday, Nov. 11, before tallying a career high 42 saves in a 3-0 loss to Norwich on Saturday.

Rookie of the Week
Whitney Padgett – University of Southern Maine
(Freshman, Goaltender – Eden Prairie, Minn.)

player In her first collegiate appearance (and start), Padgett made 21 saves, including 11 in the third period, to lift the Huskies to their first win of the season, a 2-1 win over Salve Regina. The Huskies win over the Seahawks was their first since 2013.

Player of the Week
Sarah Schwenzfeier – Norwich University
(Junior, Forward – Hingham, Mass.)

player Schwenzfeier scored her first career hat trick to lead Norwich to a 7-4 victory over Manhattanville on Saturday. She also tallied an assist for a four-point night. In total, she had five points on the weekend as she also scored in a 5-0 win over Salve Regina. She has a team-leading +4 plus/minus rating through two games.

Goaltender of the Week
Shannon O'Neil – Franklin Pierce University
(Senior, Goaltender – Tewksbury, Mass.)

player O'Neil made 38 saves and allowed just one goal in a 2-0-0 week for the Ravens. The senior goaltender stopped all 17 shots she faced on Friday to post a shutout at Saint Michael's and then stopped 21 of 22 shots on Saturday at University of New England.

Rookie of the Week
Linnea Odbratt – Norwich University
(Freshman, Forward – Gothenburg, Sweden)

player Odbratt had an impressive debut weekend, scoring three goals and two assists for five points in two victories. She led the Cadets with two goals in a 5-0 win over Salve Regina. She then tallied three points in a 7-4 win over Manhattanville.

Player of the Week
Sam Girard – College of the Holy Cross
(Sophomore, Forward – Dedham, Mass.)

player Girard had two goals this weekend to help the Crusaders to a 2-0 start of the season. One of her goals was a game-winner in the second game against Sacred Heart on Sat. Oct. 29, scored with 4:31 left on the clock, to help the Crusaders overcome a 2-0 deficit in the final 6:44 of the game. Holy Cross won 3-2.

Goaltender of the Week
Rachel Myette – University of Massachusetts Boston
(Junior, Goaltender – Duxbury, Mass.)

player In the season opener, Myette made a total of 22 saves to lead the Beacons to a 3-1 win over Stevenson University. The junior netminder posted eight saves in the third period alone as they fended off a comeback effort from the Mustangs.

Rookie of the Week
Megan Klaus – Saint Anselm College
(Freshman, Defense – State College, Pa.)

player Klaus recorded an assist in her first collegiate game in Saint Anselm's 3-2 season-opening win over Franklin Pierce on Friday evening, earning an assist on the Hawks' first goal midway through the first period.
