Men's Weekly Release



MARSHFIELD, Mass. – The New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) men's weekly awards were announced for games through Sunday, December 4. Danny Divis (Media, Pa.) of Saint Michael's College was selected as the league's Player of the Week. Ty Reichenbach (Billings, Mont.) of Norwich University and Mike Ferraro (Northbridge, Mass.) of Saint Anselm College earned Goaltender and Rookie of the Week honors respectively.

Player of the Week
Danny Divis – Saint Michael's College
(Senior, Defense – Media, Pa.)

player Divis recorded three goals and one assist during the Purple Knights' 1-0-1 weekend against nationally-ranked opponents. In a 4-2 win over No. 12 Babson on Friday, he scored twice while helping the penalty kill hold the Beavers to a 1-of-8 showing with an extra man. During a 5-5 tie with No. 8 UMass Boston on Saturday, he notched a goal and an assist in Saint Michael's come-from-behind tie.

Goaltender of the Week
Ty Reichenbach – Norwich University
(Senior, Goaltender – Billings, Mont.)

player Reichenbach stopped all 18 shots he faced in his first game since Nov. 18 to help Norwich shutout No. 12 Babson in a 2-0 victory on Saturday afternoon. It was his second shutout of the season and the Cadets needed every save as neither team scored for the first 56 minutes of the game.

Rookie of the Week
Mike Ferraro – Saint Anselm College
(Freshman, Forward– Northbridge, Mass.)

player Ferraro scored his first collegiate goal as part of a four-point (3G, 1A) week for Saint Anselm, which went 2-1-0. The freshman found the back of the net twice and added an assist in a 10-2 victory at Daniel Webster on Friday evening and followed it up with a goal in a 4-1 win at Southern Maine the next day.



Honor Roll

Tyler Piacentini – Norwich University
(Senior, Forward– South Weymouth, Mass.)

Piacentini scored both goals in NU's 2-0 win over No. 12 Babson on Saturday afternoon. He also notched an assist in a 6-2 upset win over No. 8 UMass Boston on Friday to help the Cadets sweep a huge four-point weekend against the top two teams in the conference from last season.

Trey Aiello – Saint Anselm College
(Freshman, Forward – Williamsburg, Va.)

Aiello scored in each of Saint Anselm's three games and added an assist to help the Hawks to a 2-1-0 week. After scoring in a 3-2 loss at Southern New Hampshire on Tuesday, the freshman had a goal and an assist in a 10-2 victory at Daniel Webster on Friday and also registered a goal in a 4-1 triumph at Southern Maine on Saturday. Two of his three goals were short-handed and he now has scored in five-straight games.

Carlos Fornaris – New England College
(Freshman, Forward– Miami, Fla.)

Fornaris tallied one goal and three assists in a 2-0 week for the Pilgrims. He was credited with the team's game-winning goal in their 4-0 win over Southern Maine and dished out three assists in the team's 11-2 victory over Daniel Webster.
