The University of Massachusetts Boston's men's ice hockey team will be traveling to defending National Champions, Trinity College, for the first round of the NCAA Division III Ice Hockey Championship. The game is scheduled for Saturday, March 12 with a 7:00pm puck drop.
The NCAA announced the field of 11 on Monday morning with UMass Boston earning a spot in the field after defeating Babson College 3-2 in overtime in the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) Championship and earning the league's automatic-qualification bid.
UMass Boston and Trinity squared off last season with the Beacons earning a hard fought 5-3 victory.
