MARSHFIELD, Mass. – The New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) announced the recipients of the league's major award winners, All-Conference and All-Rookie Teams as selected by the league's ten coaches.

Babson College's Jamie Murray (Scituate, Mass.) repeated as the League's Player and Goaltender of the Year. Murray led the conference with a 1.15 goals against average, .957 save% and .769 win%. Murray ranks fifth in all of Division-III with an overall 1.65 goals against average and eighth with an overall .938 save%. Murray is also the only Division-III finalist for the Hockey Humanitarian Award and is a semifinalist for the prestigious Joe Concannon Award, which Murray won in 2015.

Fabio Kläy (Langnau, Switzerland) of Castleton University took home Rookie of the Year honors. Kläy led the NEHC with 12 goals and was tied for first in the league with five goals coming on the power play. He also led all NEHC freshmen notching .94 points per game.

After securing University of Massachusetts Boston's first regular season title since 1982, Peter Belisle was recognized as Coach of the Year by his peers. Belisle guided the Beacons to a 14-2-2 conference record and a league-leading scoring offense with his team averaging 4.33 goals per game. The Beacons are currently ranked eighth in the NCAA Regional Rankings with an 18-4-3 overall record.

UMass Boston also led the league with five total selections to the All-Conference and All-Rookie teams. The dynamic duo of Matt Lemire (Townsend, Mass.) and Colin Larkin (Waterford, Mich.) landed on First-Team as forwards after ranking first and second in point scoring with 32 and 23 points respectively. Teammate Tyler Bishop (Ramsey, N.J.) joined them on the First-Team as a defender having lead the league in defenseman scoring with 14 points.

Rounding out the First-Team was Skidmore College forward Anthony Bird (Central Square, N.Y.) whose 21 points were good for third overall in NEHC point scoring.
