Men's Weekly Release



MARSHFIELD, Mass. The New England Hockey Conference men's weekly awards were announced for games through November 1 with the duo of Frankie DeAugustine and Garrison Sanipass of University of Massachusetts Boston taking home Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week honors respectively. University of New England goaltender, Mason Riley, earned Goaltender of the Week accolades.

Player of the Week
Frankie DeAugustine University of Massachusetts Boston
(Senior, Forward Pittsburgh, Pa.)

player DeAugustine potted the game-winning goal and added an assist for the Beacons in their season opening victory against Curry College. With the game tied at 3 and five minutes to play, DeAugustine recorded the game-winner for his first collegiate game-winning goal.

Goaltender of the Week
Mason Riley University of New England
(Senior, Goaltender Turnersville, N.J.)

player Riley made 35 saves, including 19 in the second period, as the Nor'easters tied nationally ranked Hobart College 1-1 on Saturday. The senior posted a .972 save percentage in 65 minutes of action. The lone goal against came in the third period off of a power play for the Statesmen.

Rookie of the Week
Garrison Sanipass University of Massachusetts Boston
(Freshman, Forward Northbrook, Ill.)

player Sanipass recorded the first collegiate goal of his career in the Beacons' 4-3 victory over Curry on Friday. The freshman's tally also came as the first goal for the Beacons this season. Sanipass finished the day with a +1 rating.



Honor Roll

Mike Vollmin Babson College
(Senior, Defense Wilmington, N.C.)

Vollmin produced a goal and an assist in his season debut on Saturday to help Babson defeat Curry, 3-1. He notched an assist on the Beavers' opening goal early in the second period and then added the go-ahead tally late in the second.

Jamie Murray Babson College
(Senior, Goaltender Scituate, Mass.)

Murray posted a 1.50 goals against average and a .939 save percentage in a 2-0 week for the Beavers. He finished with 32 saves in Friday's 4-2 win over Hobart and then stopped 14 shots to earn the 50th win of his career as Babson defeated Curry, 3-1, on Saturday.

Ben Pearl University of New England
(Senior, Forward Essex, Vt.)

Pearl scored the game-tying goal against No. 13 nationally ranked Hobart. With six minutes to go in the final period the senior forward found the back of the net that helped the Nor'easters earn their first point of the season.
